1080 violence

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has received at least one death threat from anti-1080 protesters. She told Newshub she had been made aware of several threats from the protesters including at least one death threat. But she was more concerned about the violence and threats by protesters to front-line staff such as Department of Conservation workers. The number of DoC staff being threatened and harassed had peaked in the past few months. DoC has started recording incidents.
