Race-day heist

All the attention at the weekend's ITM Auckland SuperSprint might've been on the Supercars, but spare a thought for the Pirelli Porsche Series. Thieves took a Honda Pioneer 1000 ATV, and tens of thousands of dollars' worth of tools and Porsche parts from the support paddock. It could have been worse, with thieves trying unsuccessfully to take a couple of the category's race cars. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Counties Manukau Police.
