Unique trifecta

-

Last Thursday Foxton greyhound trainer Angela Turnwald achieved the unique feat of training the last three New Zealand group one race winners when her charge Diddilee stylishly won the $30,000 NZ St Leger at Addington. In January she mentored Nature’s Gent to victory in the $30,000 Hatrick Classic, who made it back-to-back group one wins after the same greyhound took out the $46,000 Spion Rose also at Hatrick in December. Both greyhounds will now be aimed at the $90,000 Auckland Cup.
