If you’re looking to impress someone special or just want to try something new, Veuve Clicquot’s Colourama Series promises to brighten anyone’s week, combining a group art class with champagne and canapes. Kicking off this Wednesday and running weekly until the end of the month, the event is hosted by rising Kiwi artist Holly Schroder, who will share her tips and techniques. NEXT WEEK
With the Auckland Arts Festival due to roll into town next month, Auckland Fringe returns next week to warm up the good citizens of Auckland ahead of the main event. In addition to live performances, the festival includes several movement workshops, including a Hansa Flow yoga workshop and Maori Movement – a workshop that combines spiritual and physical alignment through traditional Maori forms of movement. Both events free to participate in and take place at the Auckland Town Hall on Sunday, February 24.
NEXT MONTH
The country’s most curious dinner party returns to Auckland this month as Diner en Blanc has been confirmed to take place on Saturday March 23. As always, the event will take place at a mystery location that won’t be revealed until the night. Guests are required to dress only in white and bring their own table, chairs and crockery – as well as packing a picnic of “fine food”. Registrations open on February 27via auckland.dinerenblanc.com
