Nabura injured

The Highlanders have lost big winger Tevita Nabura before the season has even started. The 26-year-old injured the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in a knee at training last week and after examinations over the past few days, medical staff have decided he needs an operation which will end his season. The recovery period for most ACL injuries is nine months, so Nabura is unlikely to be sighted on a rugby pitch in 2019.
