Phoenix buzzing

Strong form on the pitch from the Wellington Phoenix has seen a rush on tickets for Friday night’s A-League match against the Melbourne Victory at Eden Park. The north and west stands have sold out, prompting the Phoenix to open up the south stand, with officials expecting a crowd of more than 20,000. General manager David Dome said based on the sales, the buzz that’s in Wellington is clearly evident in Auckland.
