Named in honour of an iconic race, Vodafone Derby Day (2 March) sees the return of some kiwi favourites.

We’re not sure what happened to Tracey, we don’t know why love does this to you and we still can’t figure out who loves who the most ... BUT we do know the Jordan Luck

Band is set to knock out all the classic Exponents hits and more in Cuvée after the last race has been run*.

You may know her from late nights on the town, but did you know an inner city icon began her days at Ellerslie as the “Shake Cart”? That icon, now known as the muchloved White Lady, is returning to her roots and is to be The Garden Party precinct’s exclusive food vendor.

Not the only iconic brand to join this party, Stella Artois and Moët & Chandon will also be making their presence known in this sell-out precinct. * R18 | Dress code applies | Intoxicated persons will not be permitted or tolerated

Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup Day (9 March) farewells Auckland’s summer of racing on a high.

In what is believed to be the first ever ‘heavy horse’ race at Ellerslie, all eyes will be on the track for the Dunstan Feeds Auckland Clydesdale Cup. Following heats earlier in the day, the fastest six qualifying clydesdale horses will literally thunder down the home straight in a bid to take out this inaugural event.

Following on from its sell-out debut in 2018, party precinct The Enclosure returns one last time for the summer. Racing takes a backseat and socialising is at the fore in this area where partygoers can also expect to enjoy an exclusive pop-up from Moët & Chandon. The races are all about dressing to impress and, if you’re selected as one of the day’s most stylish, you could be picked as a finalist in the Style Stakes competition. In this part style, part luck competition, finalists each randomly draw the name of a horse in one of the day’s races. The finalist whose horse wins the race, wins the prize. Easy!
