Sentencing date

-

Some relief for the Christchurch mosque attack victims and their families — the long justice process is nearing an end. A sentencing date has been announced for the shooter of August 24. Sentencing will run for three days to give all survivors and family members a chance to attend. Anjum Rahman, from the Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand, says many in the community are glad it won’t drag on any longer. She said in the absence of a trial, the sentencing would be an important part of putting this to rest.
