Results from matches played in Far North darts competitio­n last Wednesday were as follows.

Ahipara 7 The Park 8: The visitors winning a close contest out west after taking a slim 5-4 lead into the singles. Standouts were Rawden Petricevic­h with a 180 and Steve Doak top scoring with 13 100-plus scores while Ahipara’s Jason Matthews hit the night’s HF 100 and led the scoring for his crew.

Mussel Rock 9 Collards 6: This match saw 86 100-plus scores thrown including 10 for Derek Ashley. Fergie Raumati hit a game HF 94. The homeside controlled the doubles 6-3 and eventually took out the match.

RSA Nomads 13 Squash Club 2: Nomads unbeatable in the doubles with some great finishes for David Tepania while Karl Watson top scored for the visitors and had a good singles win alongside a Harry Tepania 180.

Other results were, RSA Pixies 1 The Houhora Chiefs 14: The Chiefs too tough on the night scoring and finishing well, with the sole Pixies’ highlight a 92 finish for Les Roberts; Tuatua Tavern 2 Waipapakau­ri 13: Waipap turned up in force with a Becca Marinkovic­h 102 finish and a Brian Steed 104, only for Jo Steed to blow all away with a 110; while no result was posted from Mission Impossible vs RSA Wannabes clash at edition time.

DRAW for tomorrow: Waipapakau­ri vs RSA Kauri, Collards vs Mission Impossible, Wannabes vs Mussel Rock, bye: Tuatua Tavern; Squash Club vs Awanui, Pixies vs The Park, Chiefs v Ahipara, bye: Nomads.
