The brand-new Sigma 85mm F1.4 Art lens joins the established line-up of Sigma Art lenses, offering an impressive array of features to allow for great image quality. This anticipated lens was announced at the recent Photokina, and includes two ‘F’ low dispersion (FLD)–glass elements — one of which features a high rate of anomalous partial dispersion and high refraction — and an updated hypersonic motor (HSM), which allows for 1.3 times the torque of previous models, making for fast and efficient autofocus. The lens is suitable for any style of photography, whether you’re in the studio or out on location, and portrait photographers will especially benefit from adopting the Sigma 85mm F1.4 Art lens into their kit.

Photographer Matt Granger recently put the lens through its paces, and you can hear his first impressions in the YouTube video Sigma 85mm F1.4 Art — Hands On + Sample Images. For more information, visit
