DELICATE, WELL BALANCED, AND WITH A SMOOTH FINISH

-

Amber Griffin’s Gold Distinction award–winning photograph for Jackson Estate, titled Alayna Rosé — together with three other prints in the same series — has led her to be named both the 2016 Commercial Photographer of the Year and the 2016 Wellington Regional Photographer of the Year at the 2016 NZIPP Iris awards.

“Jackson Estate was brave enough to give me complete creative freedom to produce a dancebased artwork inspired by its Pinot Rosé varietal, and it has become the most joyful project I have ever undertaken,” Amber said.

She explained that she used dancer Alayna Ng as her model, “[b]ecause of the incredible balance she possesses between her stunning muscularity and beautifully delicate femininity — she is such a perfect fit to illustrate the most feminine of wine varietals, the rosé.”

Jackson Estate is now taking expressions of interest from potential buyers for this limited-edition 2016 Pinot Rosé wine, which is also named ‘Alayna’, as part of the Jacksons’ Small Lot Collection. There will be a limit of two bottles per customer.

The Alayna Rosé limited-edition print is also available for purchase until October 31. For more information, visit ambergriffin.co.nz.
