Big lift in price for Pa¯ pa¯ rangi home
APA¯ PA¯ RANGI HOME that hadn’t changed hands in 18 years has been auctioned for $360,000 above its rateable value. The property, at 7 Trebann St, had a rateable value of $435,000 and sold for $795,000.
Built in about 1964, the 180-square metre house was elevated for sun and privacy on a 506sqm section with decking, lawn and a sheltered productive garden. It had five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a countrystyle kitchen.

The property, at 10 St Johns Ave, had a rateable value of $625,000 and sold for $775,000.
