AMOUNT COOK investment property that received multiple offers has been sold for $1.221 million.
The property, at 33A Thompson St, had a rental appraisal of $1790 a week and a rateable value of $800,000.

The property, at 78 Nottingham St, had a rateable value of $750,000 and sold for $1.094 million.

AN ASCOT PARK home that was marketed to first-home buyers has been auctioned for $145,000 above its rateable value.
The property, at 423 Warspite Ave, had a rateable value of $355,000 and sold for $500,000.

A WAIKANAE home with 1341 square metres of grounds in the heart of Waikanae’s Garden Area has been auctioned for $190,000 above its rateable value.
The four-bedroom property, at 25 Rata St, had a rateable value of $530,000 and sold for $720,000.
‘‘It was a beautifully presented and traditionally built weatherboard home close to all amenities,’’ Ray Marshall, of Harcourts, says.
The 180 square metre house was built in the 1970s and included an extra-large second lounge and west-facing outdoor living area.

The 3034 square metre property, at 20 St Laurent Way, had a rateable value of $560,000 and sold for $660,000. It combined a twobedroom, two-bathroom house with raised vegetable plots, fruiting vines and trees, and a herb garden.
Suzanne Cottle, of Harcourts, says the 181 square metres concrete-and-sawdust block dwelling was a ‘‘fascinating’’ mix of eco- and modern design.
‘‘There was also a triple-high stud garage suitable for a house bus, with a mezzanine floor for storage and two extra rooms for hobbies or an office.’’
