Te Aro tender proves tempting

- 6 Tutoko Pl sold for $1 million.

Apartment 802, at 38 Jessie St, had a rateable value of $840,000 and sold for $1.2 million.

‘‘There were numerous competitive tenders owing to the location and quality build of the apartment and building,’’ says Tony Cramond, of Ray White, who marketed the 144-square metre, pet-friendly unit with Debbie Bane.

‘‘It was one of just three apartments on this floor and was beautifully presented, with its open-plan design, generous ceiling heights, and floor-to-ceiling windows that maximised city views and natural light.’’

The three-bedroom, single-level apartment also had an entertainers’ kitchen, two bathrooms and an office.

Cramond says Il Casino apartments are tightly held and were built to 100 per cent of the New Building Standard code.
