■ No lead singer at anthem time – just a stadium of players and spectators singing along with the band.

■ Seeing that some players do have a ‘‘use-by date”.

■ Giving the coaches and the NZ Rugby Union time to reflect on the future now the season concludes. Graeme Stevens, Paekakarik­i It’s great to see Catherine Harris’ article (Retailer offers factory workers a say, Nov 17) on the social responsibi­lity shown by the firm Kathmandu for its Chinese workers.

I’d challenge her or any reader to inquire in any Kathmandu store how many articles they sell, produced or from Nepal in any way.

Using the image of the mountainou­s country to sell goods produced elsewhere is like selling Irish lamb in Britain as New Zealand lamb, or a Chinese company selling Hong Kong-bottled water with the image of New Zealand spring water.
