The Post

15 mins of fame

What do you think of Trump? Where is your favourite place for coffee? This summer, The Dominion Post hit the streets to ask people random questions for our 15 Minutes of Fame project. Today: Charlotte Goodall ,a personal trainer from Naenae, Lower Hutt.

Donald Trump – a self-centred time bomb, or a breath of fresh air in world politics? Definitely a self-centred time bomb. He is a bit comical, it’s hard to believe that he got elected. It’s a waiting game before it all blows up.

What is the biggest issue facing Wellington right now? And what can be done about it? Potential earthquakes and the damage and risk that will come when the big one hits. What can be done about it? Not a heap to stop it happening but hopefully individuals and government have plans in place to minimise risks.

What’s your favourite fun fact to tell people?

It’s not that fun but the average person spends six months of their lifetime waiting on a red light to turn green. What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done? I’m about to give birth, if that counts.

What’s your worst ever purchase?

I’ve bought a couple of cars that haven’t been the greatest.

Your favourite three-course meal?

Three servings of Sunday roast. I like the odd Sunday roast.

If you had to choose another first name for yourself what would it be? Why?

Officially make my name Charlie and not just have it as a nickname. If you could travel back in time, what would you change? What would you do? There are a lot of things I would think to change but then would today be the same if we did? Pavlova or trifle on Christmas Day? Why? Definitely trifle without the sponge cake, and pav without the cream.

What is the one thing that sits at the top of your bucket list and why?

Travel – so much of the world to see and people of other nationalities to learn from. Africa on a safari would be my first choice.
