Agreed, Cameron Diaz is not wearing the most exciting, stylish, glamorous or particularly notable outfit, but the reason I like it (a lot), and why Iwanted to write about it here, is that it’s a nice example of an everyday look done right, and sometimes (often, to be honest) that’s all we’re looking for.

What I love is the jewel-like, all-red eyewear (la vie en rouge), and matching ruby nails; that bang-on-trend and super versatile basket bag that’s not just for the beach or market; chunky, comfy, never-go-out-of-stylewhite sneakers in a classic shape; plus those multiple tiny earrings (a Diaz signature) in different styles.

The 48-year-old former actor ‘‘found peace’’ when she retired from acting two years ago, and is enjoying mum-time with her nearly 1-year-old daughter Raddix, though her Instagram fans have lately been enjoying Diaz’s cooking videos, which have featured everything from fancy popcorn to nori rolls.
