New Zealand Cricket’s breakout star of 2020 has joined Kane Williamson and TimSouthee in a World Test XI, chosen by a leading cricket publication.

After a stunning introduction to test cricket against India and West Indies at home, Kyle Jamieson was named alongside his captain and senior swing bowler in the Wisden website’s test team of the year.

With Covid-19 having wiped out a lot of international cricket in 2020 it’s a small sample size, but there is no room for the world’s top-two ranked batsmen Steve Smith and Virat Kohli, or Australia’s Pat Cummins, the leading test bowler.
