An evening of poetry hosted by Richard Langston and Michael Fitzsimons (proud members of the three-person South Wellington Poetry Society), who will be reading from their respective tomes, Five O’Clock Shadows and Michael, I Thought You Were Dead (both The Cuba Press).
45 Cents an Hour

The Bach Choir of Wellington

Trust Porirua City Brass, Letters from Home – an Anzac Concert

The concert presents a story about the two World Wars with letters between a soldier and his family brought to life with music of the times and tunes such as We’ll Gather Lilacs, A Long Way to Tipperary and Pack up your Troubles.

Wellington Jazz Club presents one of the country’s best exponents of the gypsy jazz genre, Leigh Jackson, who will be bringing his band Hot Cafe back for another gig of exciting rhythms and spectacular guitar technique.
Trio Elan
St Andrew’s on the Terrace, 3pm. Their programme brings together soaring melodies and catchy contemporary rhythms. Trio Elan is an electrifying new ensemble showcasing the dynamic and seductive sounds of three wildly different instruments, played by leading NZ chamber musicians.
