CHRISTCHURCH STOCK SALES
Top ewes made $119 as the market picked up another $2-$3 a head at livestock sales at Canterbury Agricultural Park, in Christchurch, over the last week.
Prime lambs were in demand with heavier lambs making $130-$136.
The store lamb pens were unchanged wth better lambs at $90-$100.

Values: A quality yarding of prime lambs met with good demand again. Heavy lambs made $130-$136, good $120-$128, medium $105-$118 and lighter $95-$100. Values: A light yarding of store lambs remained firm from last week. The best lambs made $90-$100 with the odd sale to $112, medium $82-$90 and light $70-$75.
