$2.1m in rebates

-

The Co-Operative Bank is paying out $2.1 million in rebates to customers this year. Unlike other banks, The Co-Operative Bank is structured so that customers are shareholders and receive a slice of the profits each year. It said it was too soon to say how many customers would get a rebate, or how much. It is the same total pool as last year, when $2.1m was given to more than 130,000 of its customers. They received between $10 to $600 back, based on the level of investments, and the balance of deposits in their accounts.
