CHRISTCHURCH STOCK SALES

Strong demand for prime ewes showed no signs of abating with top ewes at $250 at livestock sales at Canterbury Agricultural Park, in Christchurch, this week.

In a mostly firm market from last week heavy ewes made $200-$250. Prime lamb values dipped slightly with the best lambs at $160-$176.

Prime lambs

Values: Lambs values eased. Heavy lambs made $160 to $175, good $140 to $155, medium $130 to
