Shortly the minimum wage will rise to $16.50 per hour. This comes at the right time as the price of imports, such TVs and phones, will rise because of rising wages overseas. For instance, South Korea is raising the minimum wage a whopping 16.4 per cent to NZ$9.23 per hour. John Vile
