Ardern’s baby bump rubbed for good luck
It’s been a long trip across Europe for the now-quite-pregnant Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. But despite being seven months into the pregnancy and very much showing it, Ardern told reporters that on her sojourn across European capitals no one had touched her bump. Indeed, it barely even happened back home, Ardern said, ‘‘unless you count Clarke rubbing it like a lucky charm.’’ It must be working: Ardern was also named one of the 100 most influential figures in the world by TIME yesterday.
