Bridges jets off to Hawaii for a shortened family trip
National Party leader Simon Bridges jetted off to Hawaii with his wife and young family last night for a holiday that was booked long before former leader Bill English made his resignation plans known. Bridges has had to cut the family vacation shorter than hoped so he can be back in time for the Blue/Green conference and Young Nats ball next weekend. His deputy Paula Bennett will be running the Opposition ship in his absence and covering for his usual media appearances.
