CHRISTCHUR­CH STOCK SALES

The prime ewe market was boosted by heavier ewes, lifting the overall price $3-$5 a head at livestock sales at Canterbury Agricultur­al Park, in Christchur­ch, this week.

Top ewes made to $220. In another good lift store lambs increased $3-$4 in value with the best lambs at $100 to $114.

Prime lamb values were unchanged with heavy lambs making $145 to $160.
