A way to stay safe

Justifiable concerns have been expressed about the safety of the walkway from the site of the old rowing shed to Shag Rock corner.

Until this is remedied, I suggest the walkway be closed from the eastern end of tne boardwalk to about 70 metres from the permanent safety barrier. Pedestrians can instead use the sealed footpath on the other side of the road and cross to the walkway via the traffic island, thus avoiding the dangerous portion of the walkway.
