Assault accused remanded

A man was remanded in custody by consent after an assault at a Dunedin petrol station. The 25-year-old was meant to appear in the Dunedin District Court on a charge of assault with reckless disregard. No plea was entered and he is expected to appear next week. The incident unfolded at Mobil Forbury on Saturday night.
