Creepy-crawly fanatics unite – more than 200 experts in all things eightlegged will arrive in Canterbury next week for the biggest event on the world arachnology calendar. The 21st International Congress of Arachnology, which runs from February 10 to 15 at Lincoln University, will feature presentations on spiders, scorpions, harvestmen and other arachnids. Scientists from 32 countries will share their research in 160 talks covering arachnid taxonomy, behaviour, physiology and ecology. More information on the International Society of Arachnology website.
