Tax report

The government is spending millions of dollars on getting advice from so called ‘‘expert’’ groups, ie the Tax Working Group.

The TWG report will be released on February 21. (Will they release the whole report?)

The main item in the report will probably be the contentious capital gains tax - if the Tax Working Group are the ‘experts’, surely the Government will take its advice?

Spending all the money on getting advice, will they bring it in?

Of course they will not, because they know if they do, they may not be the Government after the next election.
