Once again I have seen a rainbow whose end was firmly in a Bromley oxidation pond. I do hope the city council has trawling machinery for recovery. We could then look forward to a zero rates rise this year.

Quarantine qualms

I’m intrigued that the residents of Queenstown should express opposition through their MP to the possible use of the town’s hotels to quarantine returning Kiwis, when not so long ago they had no objection to the same facilities being used to quarantine internatio­nal students.
