‘‘St Margaret’s celebrates diversity, knowing that each girl has her own gifts and abilities, and it is our privilege to uncover those, and more.’’ Executive Principal, Diana Patchett.

Earning a scholarship at St Margaret’s College can change the course of a girl’s school career, as she benefits from the world-class opportunities and facilities available to her at St Margaret’s on a daily basis.

She can further develop her education and reach her full potential, surrounded by a nurturing environment that has her wellbeing as a priority.

St Margaret’s has a reputation for igniting a passion for life-long learning among its students and is the only South Island girls’ school to offer a dual study pathway of NCEA and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).

The school consistently ranks above the world average for the IB Diploma and regularly tops the tables for national academic NCEA achievement.

This focus on academic achievement is carefully balanced by a rich and rewarding involvement in a wide range of sports and the arts with participation levels at over 90%.

From these balanced foundations come bright futures.

‘‘St Margaret’s celebrates diversity, knowing that each girl has her own gifts and abilities, and it is our privilege to uncover those, and more,’’ says Executive Principal, Diana Patchett. ‘‘Our role is to set her up for success, whatever success looks like for her, as she moves through the school before leaving to make her impression on the world.’’ As well as academic scholarships, St Margaret’s College also offers scholarships in boarding, sporting and the performing arts with the St Margaret’s College Foundation providing opportunity for girls who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend the school.

All scholarships are subject to availability in the school roll.

Applications are open now for St Margaret’s College 2022 Middle School Scholarships (Years 7 and 9) with a closing date of Friday May 14, 2021 at 4:00pm.
