Wiggles sell ‘Big Red Car’

The Wiggles are selling their Big Red Car to raise money for research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (Sids). The red Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet, immortalised in the song will be offered on eBay for 10 days from December 7. The new owner will be announced ahead of The Wiggles’ final Sydney shows on their Celebration Tour. Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, whose niece died from Sids at the age of eight months in 1988, said the Wiggles has supported the charity Sids and Kids since the group began 21 years ago.
