Health and lifestyle blogger Simone Anderson lives in a chic Mt Eden home with her partner Trent and a few flatmates.
Having risen to internet fame in 2015 after posting photos of her remarkable 88 kilogram weight loss on social media, the lifestyle blogger continues to share her journey and update her 287,000 Facebook and 226,000 Instagram followers on healthy living.
At the end of a long day, Anderson loves nothing more than relaxing in the outdoor area of her stylish new flat, close to Auckland’s CBD. ‘‘I love our sheltered outdoor area where you can light an outdoor fire and relax with a big glass of wine,’’ she said.

I throw my bag in my room and jump straight into the kitchen to cook a fresh meal.

Unfortunately I don’t have great DIY experiences, so I have now given up and try to find bargains instead.

I love our sheltered outdoor area where you can light an outdoor fire and relax with a big glass of wine.

With a big cheese platter and outside with the wood fire burning.
Best kept secret about the area you live in
The stunning walks and parks surrounding our house make for a great excuse for walks and coffee with friends.
How do you feel about unannounced guests?
I love it. The more the merrier. We always have something in the fridge we can offer and make them feel at home.
Favourite piece of furniture
Brass side table and love that it’s a bargain at $49.
Shoes on or off in your house
On. A home should be lived in.

My KitchenAid mixer, looks wicked on the bench and is also a baker’s best friend.

The ironing. Lucky for me, Trent enjoys it.

What’s one trick you’ve learnt over the years
If you just do a small amount each day, it never builds up and gets out of hand. That way, you never do big jobs, rather a few small ones each day.
