Fatal crash

One person has died in a crash near Cromwell. A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to a crash single-vehicle crash on State Highway 8 near Cromwell about 3.10pm on Saturday. One person died at the scene, near the lookout, just south of the State Highway 8B intersection. The police serious crash unit had been advised, the spokeswoman said.
