Two injured after car rolls on highway

Two people were injured in a single-car crash on Te Anau-Milford Highway shortly before 11am yesterday. St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said one person had moderate injuries and another had minor injuries. The person with moderate injuries was transported to the Te Anau Medical Centre for further assessment, he said. He did not know the age and gender of the people injured. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said the car rolled about 15 kilometres from Te Anau heading towards Milford Sound. Fire crew from Te Anau Fire Station assisted ambulance staff, he said.
