Drivers advised to carry chains with snow expected

Motorists were encouraged to be cautious of snow fall overnight on Te Anau-Milford Highway. People travelling in the area were encouraged to carry chains and there was a precautionary closure from 4.30pm yesterday at Hollyford Rd. The road was expected to reopen by 10am today after snow clearing.
