Centrally located in the Main Street of Gore, Inner Balance Massage & Beauty provides a holistic approach to health and skin care with client care of upmost importance.

‘‘We specialise in therapeuti­c massage and corneother­apy advanced skin care and treatments, alongside beauty therapy treatments in a holistic enviroment,’’ says owner Kristin Leckie.

Open Monday and Thursday, 9.15am to 8pm, Wednesday, 9.15am to 3pm and Tuesday and Friday, 9.15am to 5pm, Inner Balance Massage & Beauty has four experience­d and qualified therapists available to meet their clients individual requiremen­ts.

Kristin (Theraputic/ Massage/Beauty Therapist), Bridget Mennie (Therapeuti­c/ Sports Therapist), Laura Braithwait­e (Beauty Therapist/Brow Expert) and Devon Millan(Beauty Therapist).

Tracey McLean, a Skin Institute Appearance Medicine nurse also offers a monthly clinic from the premises.

Inner Balance Massage & Beauty provide their clients with a range of therapeuti­c and beauty options, including therapeuti­c massage, advanced skin treatments , CIT skin needling, epidermal blading,waxing , eye brows, tinting, pedicures, skin care advice and skin nutrition informatio­n.

They proudly stock Dermavidua­ls corneother­apy skin care, Janesce holistic skin care, Bestow beauty supplement­s and organic teas, Quoi mineral make-up, Ocosmedics treatment foundation­s and Aroha healing candles.

With no two skin-types the same, Kristin says Inner Balance Massage & Beauty ensure cients are provided with bespoke skin care.

‘‘We customise your skin care and foundation­s to treat your individual needs,’’ she says.

‘‘We refer to other practioner­s to ensure the best possible results for our precious clients.’’

In the future, Kristin is hoping to have a LED max light therapy device and she will soon be introducin­g a new, special pregnancy massage table for pregnant mothers to be able to comfortabl­y enjoy a massage.

Together the team have a combined 47 years experience. They are passionate and love what they do.

‘‘We provide what we believe are the best products available on the market, where nature meets science and we keep up-todate with training and research,’’ says Kristin.

‘‘We have recently become members of the New Zealand Beauty Therapy Assosiatio­n and we are covered by profession­al indemnity insurance.

‘‘We undergo regular training to keep relevent and I (Kristin) have just enrolled in the New Zealand Naturopath­ic College Diploma in Nutrition and Health Science programme.’’

Inner Balance Massage & Beauty now have an online booking system through their website (www.innerbalan­ce.co.nz) and facebook page.

This is a new service for customer ease and convienenc­e as the business doesn’t have a receptioni­st.

The business has seen significan­t growth in the past year. From small beginnings when Kristin started out on her own by renting a small room, to now leasing the existing second floor space she is in.

Inner Balance Massage & Beauty is thriving with three additional therapists added to the team.
