What she wore

Chloe Grace Moretz and Jessica Biel’s outfits will have you covered, rain or shine, says Christina Kuntz.

Maybe it’s the bouncy hair. Or the floaty dress. Or that “damn, I look good” strut. Whatever the reason, this Chloe Grace Moretz look is so easy, breezy and beautiful it deserves its own Cover Girl ad. Granted, there’s a lot going on with those prints, but the overall vibe is polished and chic, which is pretty impressive for a 21-year-old actress, when you consider what many of her contemporaries are stepping out in. Moretz is one celeb who isn’t afraid to take fashion risks, and while not all of them have paid off, this one hits the mark. The brilliant pop of colour from her Louis Vuitton bag is a nice touch, as is the black nail polish, which adds a bit of an edge to an otherwise prim and proper style. There’s a lot to be said for long-sleeve print dresses, especially at this transitional time of year. Invest in a good one and you’ll be wearing it from spring through to autumn, swapping out boots for strappy heels or mules once the weather warms up. And you’ll never go wrong with a cool blackand-white print. And as we’re all thinking about warmer weather, there’s nothing wrong with showing a bit of skin once the temperatures rise. Jessica Biel looks bright and beautiful in this funky one-shouldered style. A quirky pattern keeps the dress from looking too frumpy, as does the natural hair and makeup. Once again, a bold little bag adds a clever punch of colour. And Biel’s white heels are right on-trend, as it seems that shoe shade will be around for a while. Finish off the look with a bit of bling on your fingers and you’re ready to roll. Summer, here we come.
