Welcome from the committee
Greetings and welcome again to the annual Alexandra Blossom Festival. This year we celebrate 62 years since the festival began and the committee are looking forward to another spectacular event.
As with any small community, it takes many hands to organise a festival such as this, and we are all very aware of the huge personal contributions made by people since the first festival back in 1957. This continued assistance ensures the festival is a success year after year.
Sincere thanks from the organisers to each of you and your community groups for your contribution.
The committee understands and respects the importance of the festival as a local event and the focus each year is on elements that reflect this. These elements include, good quality family-oriented entertainment, plenty of quality activities
for children and with children throughout the day, ensuring things are affordable, where possible engaging with local businesses and local community groups and recognising community and individual effort.
Visitors from all over come to celebrate the Alexandra Blossom Festival every year and we, the committee, hope you all enjoy the festivities for this year’s 62nd annual celebration. We look forward to seeing you there.
