❚ June 18: 12 Football Ferns players and one former staff member complain about the conduct of coach Andreas Heraf. ❚ June 20: An independent investigation into the Football Ferns’ team environment is launched.
❚ June 29: Chief executive Andy Martin resigns. ❚ July 6: Lawyer Phillipa Muir is appointed to lead the independent investigation. Its scope is widened to consider the conduct and culture of NZ Football more broadly. ❚ July 31: Heraf resigns as Football Ferns coach and technical director. ❚ October 3: Muir review released.
