■ Senior’s Concert Andrews Church:

Friday, December 14 at 2pm. Great entertainment followed by a lovely afternoon tea. Gold coin donation. Everyone welcome.

■ MLT Christmas in the Theatre:

SBS St James Theatre, Sunday, December 16 at 2pm to 4pm. A variety show full of fun and Christmas cheer with the always delightful Marion Burns as the headline act.

This year’s line-up also features St Peter’s College Kapa Haka Group, Jeff Rea, the Gore Police choir, Craig Wadsworth and his son Jay, Jenny and Ron Mitchell and more. For tickets head to the SBS St James Theatre.

■ Dino Day Programme:

■ Carols in the Park:

Gore Gardens (or wet-weather venue Gore Baptist Church) - St

Sunday, December 23 at 9pm to 10.15pm. Carols by candlelight in a beautiful setting.

Bring a candle and a chair and enjoy singing the timeless melodies of Christmas. Event arranged by the Gore Minister’s Association. Anyone is welcome to attend this event organised by the combined churches of the Gore District.
