Drone disrupts airport

Queenstown Airport was briefly disrupted yesterday after a drone was spotted. A police media spokeswoman said the control tower was notified about a nearby drone at 3.47pm. Police were looking for the owner, she said. Queenstown Airport communications adviser Jen Andrews said flights were held for about 10 minutes but resumed as normal.
