Ferns to play England

The Football Ferns will meet the highly ranked England team six days out from the Women’s World Cup. One day after announcing dual friendlies against Norway on April 5 and 9, New Zealand Football has confirmed the Football Ferns will also play England in Brighton on June 1. England are coached by former Manchester United player Phil Neville and they are currently ranked No 4 in the world. It will be the first meeting between the two nations since the 2013 Cyprus Cup, when England triumphed 3-1.
