Three arrested in ongoing burglary investigation

Police conducted three search warrants in the Strathern and Woodend areas of Invercargill yesterday morning, in relation to an ongoing burglary investigation. A police spokeswoman said the armed offenders squad assisted as a precaution. Three people were arrested and were assisting police with inquiries. Further arrests were likely, the spokeswoman said. As further inquiries were being made, police were not in a position to provide further details.
