Home invasion charges laid

A man has been charged with burglary, indecent assault and male assaults female in relation to an incident near Clifden, in eastern Southland. Police were called to a property on Clifden Gorge Rd about 9.30pm on November 10, in relation to a home invasion. No-one was injured. A 22-year-old man appeared in the Invercargill District Court on Tuesday. He has been remanded on bail to reappear on December 8.
