Assault inquiries ongoing

Invercargill police are still investigating an assault that left one person injured on November 19. A police spokeswoman said there had been no arrests and inquiries were ongoing. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Conon and Tweed streets about 2.30pm on November 19. The person was seriously injured with a stab wound to the arm and was taken to Southland Hospital.
