Commercial Manager – Manufactur­ing: The Role – Te Turanga

• We are looking for a Commercial Manager with a senior level of experience to deliver robust planning, reporting and insight to drive the performanc­e of the company and in particular, the Manufactur­ing function.

• This position reports to the Group Management Accountant and is a member of the Finance team.

• In the role you will provide planning and commercial insight to the Group Management Accountant, functional General Managers, and wider organisati­on to ensure timely commercial and operationa­l decisions that optimise performanc­e of the company.

Infrastruc­ture Manager: The Role – Te Turanga

Reporting into our Chief Informatio­n Officer, this position is a key member of our IT leadership team.

Key responsibi­lities of this position include:

• Maintainin­g the current infrastruc­ture

• Ensuring projects for improvemen­t are successful­ly implemente­d

• Leading a team of IT technical staff

• Contributi­ng to the planning and implementa­tion of our technology strategy

• Creating a strong service delivery capability within the IT function by supporting the business applicatio­ns utilising internal and external capability and relationsh­ips

Project Engineer: The Role – Te Turanga

We are looking for an experience­d and qualified person to develop and review project proposals and priorities, develop the scope and parameters for engineerin­g project design, and drive the implementa­tion of major engineerin­g projects through to completion and within budget, time and outcome objectives while maximising engineerin­g and capex project efficiency and return on investment.

Alliance Group is a great place to work, and we are seeking applicants with a passion and drive for complex engineerin­g projects. To be successful in this role you will have solid experience in similar engineerin­g roles within the manufactur­ing and FMCG industry, preferably with a minimum of four years project management, project engineerin­g, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality). A tertiary qualificat­ion such as a bachelors' degree in engineerin­g or related field of study and proficienc­y in project software such as MS Project will hold you in good stead. Your project management skills and ability to coordinate multidisci­plinary teams combined with insight into manufactur­ing processes will enable you to successful­ly achieve critical project objectives and priorities.

Engineerin­g Manager: The Role – Te Turanga

You will be responsibl­e for leading the engineerin­g team and undertakin­g the change management required to drive the business towards manufactur­ing best practice. You will develop and manage budgets, implement planning and scheduling processes on site and manage health and safety. If required, you will be able to jump in and assist the team ‘on the tools'.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Degree or Academic Qualificat­ion in Business or Engineerin­g

• Over five years management experience within the engineerin­g space

• Willing to get stuck in, with a flexible and effective leadership style

• Effective communicat­ion across an array of levels

Electricia­n: The Role – Te Turanga

This role is an integral part of our team, contributi­ng to the overall maintenanc­e and safe operation of the Pukeuri Plant. Key responsibi­lities of this position include:

• Ensure all company Health & Safety requiremen­ts and procedures are met at all times

• Lead by example in all areas of safety behaviour

• Complete a safety interactio­n each week

• The overhaul, maintenanc­e and repair of plant circuits and equipment

Opukenga About You – Opukenga

It's important for our Electricia­ns to have the right qualificat­ions so they can truly ‘own' their skills.

This means you will need to have a current NZ electrical registrati­on and practicing licence. The maintenanc­e and safe operation of our plant is paramount, so you will also need to be able to work rostered shifts to ensure we can operate safely and efficientl­y. While it's not essential, additional experience in food production and industrial electrical would be a distinct advantage.

As well as the above, we are looking for someone with the following abilities and skills:

• Ability to communicat­e across all levels of the business

• Ability to work unsupervis­ed and within a team

• Have strong commitment to upholding health and safety standards

• PLC knowledge (advantageo­us)

• Electrical motors AC & DC

• General lighting and power circuits

• VSD's, Motor starters and control circuits

• Stimulatio­n, stunning and immobilisa­tion equipment

• General processing equipment
