Naked run for charity

University of Canterbury students braved the southerly change yesterday and stripped down to their undies, all in the name of a good cause. The inaugural UC Charity Undie Run sent students tearing around campus, including one in the lime green mankini popularised by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in his film Borat. If the students had expected to be reunited with their clothes after the run they were in for a surprise – most had been donated to the Christchurch City Mission.
