Trubridge record worthy of front page

-

My family was amazed at the achievement of Kiwi William Trubridge last week.

We are not divers but can appreciate how exceptional this world record is. The dedication to his sport is inspirational.

Surely this international achievement was worthy of a front page mention, and yet it has been relegated to the sports section of the newspaper, as it was on television news coverage.

Sadly, we are often bombarded with doom and gloom in the media (let’s face it, little in the international news gives us much to smile about currently) so it would be great to celebrate the positive any chance we get.

Seeing locals (the Peking to Paris rally winners) and William Trubridge sharing the front page would have been fabulous in my opinion.

I’m sure our medal-winning athletes at Rio will get their share of the limelight – I hope our paralympians get the front page spot too.

Let’s truly celebrate all successes on the international stage. As New Zealanders, we have many successful offers subsidies for insulation to tenants with a current Community Services Card.

Householders can find information about subsidies for insulating their homes at https:/ /www.energywise.govt.nz/ funding-and- support/funding-forinsulation/ or by contacting the local provider, EnergySmart, on 688 7508.

To apply for the subsidy for home heating, please contact Environment Canterbury on 0800 329 276. Katherine Trought Environment Canterbury spokeswoman international athletes to be proud of. Mellanie Fraser-Tate Temuka Thanks Mellanie, we share your view of William’s achievement. However there are many notable achievements by Kiwis that don’t make it onto the front page. Our primary focus in deciding the placement of stories on Page 1 is to suppress through medications.

I understand that when the body is stressed from mucousproducing foods, it tries to excrete through the lymphatic system as sweat.

The armpit is one of these outlets which man in his wisdom uses underarm deodorants that prevent (in some types), the sweat from escaping. Thus the toxins have to go back into the body to be excreted through the bloodstream, putting pressure on the heart. I believe underwired bras are the biggest single cause of mammary gland cancers as the underwire shuts off the lympatic system outlet.

I understand the common cold is merely the body trying to expel mucous from the mucous membrane.

I believe cows’ milk and its to use strong local stories, which the one about the Peking to Paris winners certainly was. In the next few weeks you can expect to see the Olympics on the front page because four athletes from South Canterbury are going to the Rio Games.

In the case of William, who is from Lower Hutt, the sports page was the right place for the article in our view. – Editor. derivatives are the main cause of our dripping noses. We are what we eat and suffer the consequences as a result. Let the body rest, drink water and let your body expel the crap you’ve fed it. David F Schofield Waimate (Abridged)
